San Blas
![]() We flew into the San Blas archipelagio via a small plane. Landing was at the Corazon de Jesus a tiny airport located on a small island | ![]() Lunch started out with a fresh sancocho soup. | ![]() The best way to explore the pristine San Blas island is via a catamaran. Selina was our choice. It's crew of Daniel, Paloma and Jose was incredible. |

![]() The fish is caught daily and served as fresh as is possible. This day we had baracuda and the quinoa salad accompanying it was so flavorful. | ![]() | ![]() Once you arrive at their home you are greeted by a fabulous display of molas for sale. These people are dependent of the good boat captains such as our Daniel was to bring them customers for their beautiful wares. |
![]() How do you grocery shop out on a catamaran. Well these people bring fresh produce to you via dugout canoe for purchase. | ![]() Travel here was via a very small plane. Two people could go at a time and our co-pilot was one of out suitcases. | ![]() Grandma graciously let us photograph her carefully beaded leg décor of brilliant colors. |
![]() Have you ever seen a sunset like this? The sunsets from the catamaran were spectacular and the star studded night sky that followed took your breath away. | ![]() This beautiful young lady was so focused on taking care of her little sister. | ![]() Such a wonderful close'knit family |
![]() Many of the beaches on these islands appeared untouched and the colorful water sat on top of beautiful coral reefs. | ![]() We had such fun spending time with these kids. Smiles and laughter everywhere. | ![]() In front of these trees sits the family's mode of travel, the age old dugout canoe. |
